A very badly made cup of tea. Common on trains and in train stations. Made with water that is so hot, it should be labelled with a hazard sign:
Often the tea bags can let the cuppa down, especially when they contain what appears to be saw dust, as does UHT milk. We still have not found a way to save a disappointing cuppa, but it is suspected that much finger waving and conjuring could do the trick. It may also frighten the café staff into making better cups.
Good one Jess, I have had Drogi teaall over Spain. Last week I watched a girl in a bar order tea, the result was a glass of UHT hot milk ( not water) with a tea bag in it. I kid you not, it looked DISGUSTING and the girl drank it!

ReplyDeleteEwwww! Shocking stuff, but then the Spanish always seemed to be better coffee makers. There is something that always depresses me when I see that not even good old England can make a special cuppa. We used to be formidable at it.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of milk, and tea, I have had the unfortunate incident where I have had to wake up with no milk in the house first thing in the morning, so I am going to have to pop out and get some, in order to make a fine cuppa. x
