  1. Q. "Why did the tree cross the road?"
    A. --------------------------
Please fill in the blanks..., the tree "having its own be leafs" is a bit too feeble really. "It was feeling a little saw"? "It was off in search of its roots"? Someone out there must have something more funny!

Poor thing looks a bit lost really. All of a dither! White and new looking buildings on one side of the road, and rather a rough and friendless open area on the other, not a great spot to put down roots. I think the tree is trying to stop a large flat deck truck (lorry) and wants to hitch a lift. It has got desperate so has dispensed with the niceties of waving a thumb, and has stepped into the road... What will happen next?!
We had a patch of raspberry canes that got fed up with the lack of light, and completely dissappeared one year, only to pop up some 15 feet away in sunshine! Clever things aren't they!
