Bedessiful
Pronounced [Bed-ess-ee-fuhl] adjective.
A word that describes a very good story. From the ME 'bedd' and OE 'best', it was a word made of two parts used to describe fantastic bed-time stories. Nowadays however, it is used to describe any amazing story that is good enough to attract crowds.
Well, the ginger cat along with his friend, the black and white cat are re-inacting a tale their great, great, great grandfather accidently got shut into a train carriage, which was on its way to London Victoria. Upon arrival in London he did lots of interesting things and had tea with the Queen!
When I first saw the picture I thought (in best British retired Major General speak).."Egads, nests... Err hum, untidy fellows, what.! The blighters must be rooks or crows.. Pass the fowling piece...!" Then I saw the ginger cat... "Hold fire old chap... the'rumph... Eh it's young tiddles up there...!" Then I realised that what appeared to be nests were all cats...! "Eh, What the... blasted gin! Elephants next... pink ones.... not right in the head... wounded you know.. tin plate up there, can't stand the heat!"
"All goes to prove Darwin I suppose. Those cats had been thinking of flight so much that they have almost turned into birds. Feathers next, damned fur doen't get such a good grip on the air you know!"
(Note... I guess what we are seeing could be cats taking a lesson from duck hunters and the like, these ones want to look like nests in order to attract a flock of birds!)
So what's the story with the tree full of cats all sitting on very thin branches?
