Are they really drunk (grandly Sos'd!), or could it be that those two darlings are actually the romantic leads of an opera? You know the sort of thing, La Traviata put in a contempory setting by an aggressively cutting edge director. The young thing with the good chest, chilled kidneys, and open mouth does appear to be trying for the ellusive top C... I wonder if she got there? (and if she did... can she remember anything about it!). Of course a drop or two of something medicinal between acts has given her a fighting chance to break a wineglass or two (or even a window) with a lungful of her throaty vibrato!
