Fooea

Pronounced [Foo-ee-er] noun.

A temporary lapse in concentration. Often feels like someone has blocked a thought pathway in the brain. Most frequent when trying to add up small numbers, or spell short and easy words. A fooea has the side-effect of making one feel a bit stupid.

  1. Jess, that gave me a good laugh to start the day off with. Such a funny photo (can't even begin to imagine where you find them!). I'm not sure if the photo represents the finest acheivements of the public service (as in "men from the ministry"), or is a better illustration of the ultimate folly of contracting out all services to the private sector by competitive tender! Can't you just see one firm getting to build the left side of the bridge and the other firm the right.....

  2. I laughed so much when I found this picture. I found it when I was looking for an image for the word Flingap, hence the gap... Very funny, and I can totally see what you mean. It is definately a case of two seperate companies not communicating...!
